Perth-based singer-songwriter Jonny Reid grew up in the small Irish town of Portaferry before building a career in Australia. His debut album, Another Life, reached number one on Australia's iTunes country chart following its 2021 release. A newer single, Portaferry, was made with Australian producer Michael J. Bono and marked the start of a busy touring run. Reid performs as a live act built around that same songwriting, carrying his Irish roots into an Australian country scene.
