Josh J is a solo acoustic guitarist and singer from Perth, Western Australia.
After a decade based in Melbourne, Josh J returned to Perth having fronted the bands Vida Cain, Jetpack and The Happy Endings, and played lead guitar in Bordello. Festival credits include Big Day Out, the Australia Survival Day Concert and the St Kilda Festival, with support slots for acts such as Gotye, The Waifs, John Butler Trio and Eskimo Joe. Touring has taken in the UK, USA, Europe and Asia, including sets at the Viper Room and the House of Blues in Los Angeles. Alongside that original music career, Josh J performs covers, switching between a solo set, a duo and a full band lineup for corporate events, weddings, pubs and clubs.
