Julian James is a guitarist.
Julian James has played Melbourne's live music circuit since before he was old enough to drink in the venues he performed at, and now fronts the band Julian James and The Moonshine State. Their sound mixes finger-picking country with a southern swamp feel, carried by a back porch fiddle line. Four albums are out under the band's name, a 2020 Chain award sits among the credits, and the songs have had their run-through on stage at some of the biggest festivals in the country.
