Just Us Girls

Five players, all women, performing jazz, soul, swing and jazz-pop classics. Just Us Girls formed from graduates and current students of the Adelaide College of the Arts and the Elder Conservatorium of Music, and the line-up is Elizabeth Ling on vocals and guitar, Izzy Daramell on vocals, keys, guitar and bass, Shania Trisha on saxophone, bass, keys and guitar, Crystal Kinloch-Hurcombe on trumpet and percussion, and Mardi Hogan on drums and percussion. The Dave Brubeck Quartet, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Amy Winehouse, Sade, Frank Sinatra and Julie London all feed the repertoire, alongside their own original swing jazz and jazz-pop songs.
