Looped electric guitar under a soulful voice, and a throwback RnB set that keeps building. Solo, the material sits mostly in 90s and 2000s RnB. Add a duo or the full band and it widens into 80s soul and funk, the sort of thing that fills a floor. Expect Stevie Wonder, Kool & The Gang, Michael Jackson and Chaka Khan, then Mariah Carey, Beyonce and Bruno Mars. For a quieter background set, think TLC, Mary J Blige, Usher and Alicia Keys. A multi instrumentalist who plays regularly at Opera Bar, The Argyle and Oxford Art Factory, and has performed at Le Montage and the Sydney City Recital Hall, usually alongside some of Sydney's better session players.
