Karaoke Samurai

This Leichhardt-based act covers karaoke hosting, DJ sets and a Vegas-style vocal show, built around a large sound system with disco and stage lighting supplied as standard. Six microphones, including two wireless handsets, run through a mixing desk and equaliser operated by the host, to support the singers. The vocal segment leans on professionally recorded backing tracks played by swing musicians, covering standards such as My Way, New York New York, Moondance, Sway and Strangers in the Night. Bookings are offered for corporate functions, weddings and private parties, with cordless microphones on hand for speeches as well as song requests.
