Katie Noonan is a singer from Queensland.
Trained in opera and jazz at the Queensland Conservatorium, Katie Noonan first reached the ARIA charts fronting the pop rock group George alongside her brother Tyrone Noonan, whose debut album Polyserena entered the ARIA chart at number one. She also founded the jazz trio Elixir in 1997 and released a solo album, Skin, which debuted at number six on the ARIA charts. A jazz cycle written with Paul Grabowsky, Before Time Could Change Us, and a project pairing her with Deborah Conway, Sara Storer, Ruby Hunter and Clare Bowditch for the Broad Festival both sit alongside her more pop-facing work. Noonan has received ARIA awards and nominations across her recording career.
