Voice and guitar, nothing else needed. Kayci Mya works the Adelaide acoustic circuit, playing weddings, restaurants and private functions with a sound that sits close to Ed Sheeran territory. A 40 minute set runs to six or ten songs depending on how long they are, and a full hour lands somewhere between ten and sixteen. She turns up early to set up and get a feel for the room, which matters more than most people realise. Also works as an acoustic duo, and covers pop, R&B and soul alongside her own material. Bring a PA and a corner to stand in, and that's the job sorted.
