Eight pieces, and every one of them earns their spot. Kelly's Heroes pulls together some of Brisbane's better session musicians and their mates into a rock and blues band built on the classic line-up, guitars, keys, bass and drums, with saxophone on top and female backing vocals behind. This same crew has worked its way around Brisbane since 1999, across private parties, corporate functions and the pubs. The set leans on the sixties and seventies, With A Little Help From My Friends, To Love Somebody, Take Me To The River, Whole Lotta Rosie, Live And Let Die, then drops in a handful of current chart songs and a couple of originals. Loud, tight, and very hard to sit still through.
