Heartbreak lyrics over warm folk melodies, which is a harder combination to pull off than it sounds. Kelsey Berrington has spent the last five years performing solo and with his folk duo Freight Train Foxes, playing Woodford Folk Festival, Gympie Muster, Ground Water, Neurum Creek and Majors Creek, touring to the US for AmericanaFest in 2024 and busking his way around the UK and Europe. Two full length solo albums, five EPs with the duo, and over five million streams. He's primarily an originals writer but enjoys throwing in covers, usually Vance Joy, Ed Sheeran or Passenger, with some Bruce Springsteen and Paul Simon for the older heads. Brings his own PA for vocals and guitar.
