Khai Halim

Khai is a full-time solo musician in Brisbane doing contemporary pop with a lot more going on than one voice and one guitar. Smooth vocals, rhythmic acoustic playing, bluesy solos, a kick stomp for the beat, and fast looping that builds guitar percussion, riffs and bass lines using an octave pedal. John Mayer, Eric Clapton, Ed Sheeran, Maroon 5 and Stevie Wonder are the reference points. So one person, but a fuller sound than the line-up suggests.
