About this act
Formed in Brisbane in 2019 and led by singer and guitarist Mick Bristow, with Stav Tsolakides on bass and Bevan Bancroft on drums. Killtoys work in dark rock and new wave pop, and the lyrics are the part that stays with people afterwards. The artistic approach is deliberately loose, and the sound is all the better for it.
