South Asian and Middle Eastern traditionalist influences sit alongside R&B, electronic and trip-hop in KILN's sound. The Sydney-based artist is building a niche that doesn't copy either side of that mix. His songs weave through religion, rebellion, trauma and facades, giving the writing a thread of subject matter as distinct as the sound behind it.
