Three 45 minute sets of 1950s and 60s rock and roll, played by a Perth band who clearly love the source material. Kimosabe pull from Sid King and The Five Strings, Chuck Berry, Link Wray, Earl Hooker, Fats Domino, Ronnie Love, Benny Joy, Sonny Burgess and Trini Lopez, then put a modern edge on it. Expect Carl Perkins' Your True Love, I'm Ready, Come On, Say Mama, What'd I Say, Comanche, Great Balls Of Fire and a good run of Eddie Cochran. Rockabilly, blues and country all get a look in. PA and lighting can come with them, and a small stage helps, though it's not a deal breaker. Parties, weddings, dances and hoedowns.
