About this act
Formed in 2024 out of members from established Sydney rock bands Black Knuckles, Kontrasto and Arrowhead. King Machete play heavy stoner punk and they arrived on the local scene with years of sweaty hard rock experience already behind them. Comparisons have run to Soundgarden, Sabbath, Queens of the Stone Age and Danzig. They're based at Jungle studio in Leichhardt, and the headbangers around town have noticed.
