Ballet came before acting for Kip Gamblin. Training at The McDonald College of Performing Arts led to three years at The Australian Ballet School, followed by work with the Australian Ballet and a stint with the Western Australian Ballet before Gamblin became a principal dancer with the Sydney Dance Company. Performances have taken the career through America, Asia, Europe and Australasia. Film work includes the role of Roland in Kick and a part in Moulin Rouge, and Gamblin joined the cast of Home and Away as Scott in late 2002, later starring in a season of Tivoli at the Capital Theatre.
