Carlo Xavier has spent close to two decades building sets that push forward while staying rooted in deep tropical rhythms. As KOBRA 3000 he DJs and produces out of Melbourne, and he's a key part of the El Gran Mono Picó Sound System and the duo The Wild Ones, performing and directing shows at The Forum, Womadelaide, Rising, Vivid, Subsonic, Spilt Milk and the Sydney and São Paulo Biennales. That is festival and gallery work in the same career, and it shows in the sets.
