About this act
Leanne Harvey and Aaron Woolley first played together as Kokomo during the America's Cup defence in Perth in the late eighties, then held the resident band spot for the first six months of the Burswood Casino, followed by a year at the Sunset Club at Hillarys Marina backing touring acts. Since then they've worked as a duo around Perth venues and through South East Asia. Leanne has a bachelor of music, teaches at a private school and has played first trumpet with WASO and the Hills Orchestra. Aaron spent two years in the mid seventies with English hit group the Tremeloes. The set centres on sixties classics and Motown, moves into the Pretenders, the Eurythmics and Pat Benatar, and picks up Beatles, Buddy Holly and surf guitar along the way. They can run with backing tracks or go completely unplugged for a dinner setting.
