Over 400 weddings in, Krys has a well-tuned sense of when a dance floor is about to tip and what to play to tip it. Reading a room and adjusting the next few songs accordingly is the actual skill in this job, and it's the one she leads with. Her view is that a DJ sets the energy of an event more than anything else in it, which is why she pays attention to the crowd rather than the playlist. She works mainly across the eighties, nineties, 2000s, current chart material, dance and r'n'b. Sydney based, and comfortable with a couple's own request list.
