About this act
Lakota Vella is a Melbourne session guitarist and music educator who has toured as lead guitarist with Vanessa Amorosi, Mallrat and Peach PRC. She cut her teeth in her father's eleven-piece funk band, Relax With Max, then joined the cast of Dracula's Cabaret in Melbourne, which is where a lot of the performing polish came from. Current projects are the original punk rock outfit Public Figures and the covers duo and trio Bloom. Session players who can also front a stage tend to be worth booking early.
