Latin and Brazilian Samba is what Latino Grooves do in Adelaide, and they cover it several ways. Dance shows and carnival-style floorshows for the spectacle, then interactive workshops that get guests off their chairs and attempting the steps themselves. On the music side there are live bands including Soul Macumbia, plus DJs, percussionists and solo guitarists, so you can build anything from background guitar over dinner to a full carnival. Weddings, corporate events and private parties are the usual bookings. Percussion is worth considering on its own: a couple of players walking into a room does more to lift it than any amount of recorded music.
