Indie pop with a Triple J tilt, played solo, as a duo, or as a trio. Laura Bell released an EP in 2014 and has been working weddings and events ever since, hundreds of them by now. The song choices lean smart and upbeat: Back To Black, Dreams, Cruel by The Preatures, Crave You, Go Your Own Way, plus Norah Jones and The Weeknd when the room wants something slower. She carries her own PA, enough for a crowd of up to 200. And if the night needs to keep going after the live set, she can switch to DJ instead of packing up. Good fit for a reception that wants live music with a bit of edge to it.
