LCO

LCO is led by Liam O'Leary, a Melbourne session drummer and composer, and the material draws on psychedelic groove, Afrobeat, jazz and more experimental corners. A drummer leading a band tends to put the rhythm at the centre of the arrangement rather than underneath it, and that's audible here. Eclectic in the genuine sense, and better suited to a room that came for the music than to background work.
