Lexi Windsor Music

A house full of instruments in Busselton was where Lexi Windsor started out, moving to Perth later to study music at WAAPA. Piano came first; picking up guitar is what opened her songwriting up. Her original material stays close to home in feel: gentle guitar under clear, unguarded vocals. For covers she pulls from Joni Mitchell and ABBA through to Fleetwood Mac, and from Missy Higgins and The Waifs through to Amy Winehouse, Noah Kahan and Adele. South of Perth she has built a regular run at Caves House and The Deck and around local markets. She also opened, in a youth slot, for the first Summer Rush festival in Mandurah headlined by Birdland and Kayps, and took a solo spot at the TAFE showcase during WAM week.
