Ashley hosts Life After Lockup, a platform built around the skills that keep people from going back inside. His own road ran through an unconventional childhood, organised crime in Australia, private security work, and a sentence at Lotus Glen Correctional in Far North Queensland. He came out the other side with a Psychological Sciences degree. The talk covers discipline, focus, purpose, cognitive behaviour therapy and executive functioning, and it lands hard on what workplace ignorance about mental health actually costs.
