LILA was born in France and moved to Australia to chase something she'd wanted her whole life, and that journey sits underneath everything she writes. The songs are poetic and the vocals are left raw rather than polished, exploring sensuality, self-discovery and what it costs to be honest. It's romantic music without being soft. She also performs covers, bringing the same feeling to songs people already know well. Good for events where the music is meant to be listened to.
