Book Lionheart Loy for three hours and you get three 45 minute sets with short breaks between, and it's built to climb. He starts relaxed at a sensible volume, works in some upbeat numbers, and finishes hard enough that the dance floor fills. Then an encore. Seventies, eighties and nineties hits, Aussie rock and country classics, roughly five hours of material to draw on. He plays piano and keyboard, resonator guitar and harmonica, and uses loops, drum pads, bass lines and his own home recorded backing tracks to sound like more than one person.
