Lisa Hunt

Motown, soul, rhythm and blues and disco make up the core of Lisa Hunt's sets, delivered with a backing band. Hunt studied voice at the City College of New York before releasing a debut album, A Little Piece of Magic, through Universal/Polydor. Her venue residencies have included the Beach Hotel at Byron Bay, the Coolangatta Hotel and the Star Court Theatre, alongside casino performances at Conrad Jupiters, the Treasury Brisbane and the Reef Casino Cairns. Festival dates include Byron Bay Bluesfest, Caloundra Surf and Soul, Jazz in the Vines and a decade of Tamworth Country Music appearances. Hunt has also performed and toured alongside artists such as Jimmy Barnes, Tina Arena and Joe Cocker over the course of that touring history.
