Liven Roots are a Sydney island reggae and soul act, working as either a duo or a full band, and the blend takes in roots reggae, RnB, hip hop and soulful island grooves. Originally from the Fiji Islands, they carry strong cultural influences into the music, and the messages in the songs are deliberately uplifting. It's a warm sound with real depth underneath it. Good for an event that wants something distinct from the usual covers.
