Mellow is the whole idea here. LOUIE THE FLY are a four-piece from the Central Coast playing blues-inspired music that leaves room for people to talk, which is exactly what you want at some events and exactly wrong at others. Between them the members have hundreds of gigs behind them in Australia and the UK. The set mixes their own songs with covers: Roadhouse Blues, Little Red Rooster, Sharp Dressed Man, Folsom Prison Blues, Sweet Home Chicago, Look What You've Done. As they put it, it's all about the rhythm and the blues. They bring everything including the PA, and just need power and somewhere to set up.
