Lucie Plasse's love of electronic music started with reggae-dub sound systems in Dijon, and it has taken her through clubs, festivals and listening spaces across Europe and beyond. She played two French festivals this June and made her debut at Club der Visionaere last year. Now back in Melbourne, her selections drift between contemplative downtempo, lysergic slow trance, dub textures and folk influences. The sets unfold like travel journals, organic and gently psychedelic. Her own description is music for slow bodies and wandering minds, and that is exactly right.
