Chloe Marks and Madison Rossetto are Lucky Ones, a Brisbane duo with no qualms about putting Dolly Parton next to Britney Spears in the same set. Chloe handles guitar and loop pedals, Madison plays keys, and they trade lead vocals and harmonies without any fuss about who takes what. Country is the root of it, but the sets wander happily, moving from a tearjerker into something that fills a floor. Stripped back in line-up, fuller than you'd expect in sound. And a bit unpredictable, which is the point.
