Luke McD

Luke McD started on trumpet, playing in as many as six bands a week through secondary school, before dance music took over and DJing became the thing. His early gigs had him working as promoter, booker, publicist and DJ all at once, which gave him a full picture of how music, people and venues actually fit together. For more than 20 years since he has been musical director, booker and resident at many of Melbourne's best venues and events. That's a deeper grounding than most DJs bring to a booking.
