Luke Shuey

Luke Shuey debuted for the West Coast Eagles in round one of 2010 against the Brisbane Lions, scoring a goal with his first kick, and by round two of 2011 had earned an AFL Rising Star nomination. In September 2017, his after-the-siren goal against Port Adelaide decided an elimination final, the first goal of its kind scored in extra time in AFL history. He won the John Worsfold Medal in 2016 and again in 2019, and took out the Norm Smith Medal in the 2018 Grand Final with thirty-four possessions and a goal as West Coast won the premiership. He captained the club from December 2019 until his retirement in 2023, and is involved with the mental health charity A Stitch in Time.
