Mother and son, both singing, both playing more than one instrument. The harmonies are the point here, and they've had years to get them right. Luminescence Duo work the coast around Corindi Beach playing rock, alternative rock and ballads, mixing touring Australian acts like Ocean Alley, Lime Cordiale, Sticky Fingers, Spacey Jane and Tones and I with the older ground: The Beatles, Creedence, Fleetwood Mac, Bill Withers, Tracy Chapman, Tina Turner. Valerie, Hallelujah, Sweet Caroline and Stick Season all turn up. Lineups run from semi-acoustic guitar and stomp box through to guitar, bass and stomp box or guitar with djembe. They can DJ after the live set. All they need is a power socket, easy access and dry, level ground.
