Madame Butterflies is a stilt walker from Loganlea, Queensland.
Four performers make up the Madame Butterflies, each in an individually designed costume with large, colourful wings that catch the light as they weave among a gathering. Working out of Loganlea, the act has toured internationally, with appearances in Thailand, Singapore, Japan and Kuala Lumpur alongside bookings across Australia. Slow, graceful movement through an audience is the core of the performance,. Special events, parades, shopping centre appearances, fundraising events and fetes are also possible settings, with the wingspan and colour palette designed to stand out in a crowd.
