Seven pieces out of Southern Queensland doing Madness, and they've gone after the look as well as the sound. The set covers nearly forty years, from 1979 through to the recent records, so House Of Fun, Baggy Trousers, One Step Beyond and Night Boat To Cairo are all in there alongside deeper cuts. What made Madness work in the first place was the mix: Brit pop bolted onto Jamaican ska and reggae with a bit of Motown and a lot of Ian Dury. That mix is why it still fills a dance floor. Expect a hot, sweaty, upbeat room and a crowd that leaves happy.
