Luke covers a lot of ground for one performer. Fifteen years in, he does roving magic that moves group to group using objects already sitting on the table, stage magic for seated rooms, full illusion shows, water escapes, fire performance and balloon twisting. Collingwood and St Kilda football clubs, Crown Casino, Kryal Castle and Castrol have all booked him, alongside multiple sold out shows in Victoria. The sleight of hand and mentalism have won national awards. Practical detail matters here because the formats differ so much: roving needs ten minutes and no floor space, stage magic needs half an hour and a couple of metres, and an illusion show is a two to three hour build with a crew of up to five. Fire performance needs the audience two metres back. Every booking wants a car spot near the load-in.
