Sibling harmonies are hard to fake and Mak & Shar have them naturally, wrapped around an energetic modern country-pop sound. The festival list is already substantial: Deni Ute Muster, Gympie Music Muster, Groundwater and the Tamworth Country Music Festival. They took a semi-final placing at the International Songwriting Competition, and their 2025 single Counting Clouds went to number one on Australian country radio. A duo moving quickly, and worth catching while the rooms are still small.
