Malachy Maguire

Fifteen years behind a kit, split between live work and session and recording jobs. Malachy Maguire is a modern drummer based in Perth, studying contemporary performance on drums at WAAPA, and comfortable enough across styles to slot into a band or a studio date at short notice. Marimba, percussion and tuned percussion are all available if a arrangement calls for something other than a kit. Travel with own gear is no problem, and there's recording equipment on hand as well, so a session doesn't have to happen in a studio to happen properly.
