The Chvrch of MANKIND play gothic rock, post-punk and hypnotic psychedelia, and the live shows are built on layered soundscapes: emotive vocals, melodic basslines, droning synths and booming percussion. The duo is Dan on bass and vocals and TJ on percussion. They've supported Regurgitator and The Mavis's, run a nine-date HOME State Tour and a four-date Melbourne run, headlined Le Deux Fest, opened for UK industrial act Attrition, and played Junction Arts Fest, Unconformity Fest and Party in the Paddock. Dark and atmospheric, with an edge that a lot of genre-blurring bands only claim.
