Marcio Mendes comes from São Paulo and has played professionally since his early twenties, sharing stages with respected Brazilian names including Djavan and samba bands like Katinguele, Art Popular and Negritude Jr. He's performed for crowds of up to 50,000 in Brazil, Europe and Australia, working with Leandro Lehart, Rachel Claudio and the acclaimed pianist Tania Maria. Now based on the Gold Coast. Genuine Brazilian musicianship, and there is not a lot of it going around Queensland.
