Marco / Poco Loco

Marco plays guitar and sings solo, with a knack for reading a room that's worth more than any fixed setlist. If nobody's requesting anything, he works out what will keep people eating or dancing and plays that. With Poco Loco, his duo and trio, he spent six years working the casinos in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast, plus a long run of corporate events and weddings. Sets get built around your brief: cocktail and easy listening while people eat, then progressively more up-tempo until the floor fills. They don't use set lists much, preferring to change on the fly. Requests can be learnt before the day. The band needs cover from rain and sun, reliable power, parking and an hour's access before the start.
