About this act
Mark takes the long way through the Mississippi Delta, from where the blues started in the twenties and forties right up to now. Mississippi John Hurt, Blind Blake, Muddy Waters and the infamous Robert Johnson all get a look in, plus a handful of originals and some rearranged Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash. He plays acoustic and resonator guitars, and sometimes a cigar box. Depending on the booking he can add other players on washboard and harmonica, so the act works as a solo, a duo or a trio. Acoustic, foot-tapping, and about as far from a backing track as you can get.
