Mark Tippett

Mark Tippett draws people, and he's been drawing for a living since layout and design work in advertising before computers took over. Newspaper and catalogue artwork came first, then a decade of headings, diagrams and illustration for magazines, then a career in adult education alongside the art. Caricature is the part he calls social commentary. Under the name Tippettures he works live at weddings, engagement parties, birthdays and social club nights, roving with a pad and drawing guests on the spot. He also takes commissions for framed portrait parodies, hand drawn gift cards for retirements and farewells, and single caricatures for profile pictures. Discounted rates for not for profits.
