About this act
Marnie Lane has spent years across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Europe learning, teaching and passing on the fire arts. The show is multi-prop: contact staff, double staves, dragon staff, poi, hoop, fire eating, with the option of big fire effects for a finale. It can rove through a crowd, sit ambient in the background, run as snappy short sets or build to a proper stage show, and bubble work can be added for daytime crowds and kids. Marnie can perform to a live band or bring a soundtrack. A solo performer needs about three metres square, up to four performers need five by six, and an indoor ceiling should be three metres or more. A green room and somewhere close to load in make the day easier.
