Marty Fields

A stand-up career beginning in 1987 on the hotel and club circuit built the foundation for Marty Fields, who has since toured the United States four times, headlining a week at Manhattan's New York Comedy Club. Three bestselling comedy books followed, along with a nationally syndicated comedy radio show carried by 105 stations and a regular presenting slot on Melbourne's 3AW. Television credits run from Homicide and The Sullivans through to Blue Heelers, where he played the recurring character Roy Holland, plus five years on Hey Hey It's Saturday. As an MC he's hosted award nights including the Australian Music Awards and the ADMA Awards, and anchored corporate roadshows for clients such as Sensis, Hilton Hotels and Microsoft, and the Australian comedy industry recognised his stand-up work with a place in its hall of fame. He's based in Victoria and travels nationally and internationally.
