Five tributes, one night, four hours. Masters Of Rock builds its show in five parts, each one costumed and staged to match the band being covered. It opens on Led Zeppelin in seventies gear and works through the hits toward Stairway To Heaven. Then The Doors, cool and groove heavy, from Roadhouse Blues to Riders On The Storm. Part three is Deep Purple, where Smoke On The Water and Black Night get the room singing. Part four hits Guns N' Roses, all the Sweet Child and Paradise City you'd hope for. And it finishes on AC/DC, complete with the schoolboy uniform and the guitar antics. Big production, and it's meant to be.
