Matt Burke sings acoustic, and his repertoire reaches back across several decades so the set can be pitched at whoever is in front of him. He has played some genuinely large rooms, including Perth Glory A-League entertainment at NIB Stadium and Fremantle Dockers AFL matches at Optus Stadium, plus stages overseas. Holding a stadium crowd's attention with one voice and one guitar is a different skill from holding a pub's, and he's done both.
