Matthew Green

Acoustic gigs are where Matt Green performs, sometimes alone, sometimes with one or two others alongside him, with a repertoire that stretches from 1950s classics through to current hits. He started learning music at three years old, and his own originals sit next to the covers in a set carried by keyboard melodies, warm vocals and stomp box rhythm. His work with Brisbane band Alta Falls runs alongside this solo and small-group output. A relaxed bar and a livelier pub both suit the format equally well, with the set adjusted rather than replaced between the two.
